Playlist Manager

On MeAndMic.com you can create playlists of multiple recordings. Playlists can consist of a mix your and other member's recordings. Use playlists to collect your favorites songs, the recordings of a contest etc.

You can create playlists from songs added to the player but this guide covers recordings added to a playlist from the search or other site pages. The Playlist manager is found from your User Settings page.

How to create a playlist

  • First: Click the ADD button to create a new playlist.
  • Second: Give the playlist a name so it’s easier to search for at a later date.
  • Third: You can choose to give the playlist a description. (Giving a description allows yourself and other members to have a better idea of what type of recordings are in your playlist)
  • Fourth: Select if you would like to have your playlist visible to other members.

How to add songs to a playlist

  • First: Go to the Search page and go into the Member Recordings tab.
  • Second: Fill out the search fields as needed and click the search button.
  • Third: Go through the list and find songs that you would like to add. When you have found a song that you would like to add, click the plus button located at the right.
  • Fourth: After you have clicked the plus button a dialog box will pop-up. From here you can choose which playlist you would like to add the recording to.
  • Continue these steps every time you add a recording to a playlist.

Search for member recordings and add them to your playlist.

How to delete songs from a playlist

  • First: Click the View button from your playlist options. Once you have clicked the button a new screen will appear below your playlists.
  • Second: Click the delete button beside the tracks that you no longer want.

You can also click the Shuffle button in the top-right of the grid to randomly shuffle the currently selected playlist.


Delete individual songs by going into the view mode of your playlist.

Playlist options

  • Edit Button: In this section you can edit all of your playlists details such as; Playlist name, description and visibility.
  • Delete Button: This button deletes your playlist from your profile.
  • Play Button: This button opens up your playlist in the MeAndMic.com Player.
  • View Button: This button allows you to view all the songs that you have added to your playlist.

All of your playlist options are found on the right side of your playlist field.

  • Did You Know?: You can use the Embedded Media module to add video from most of the major video hosting sites.
