The Activity Manager

The Activity Manager allows you manage your activity feed as well as see the how many people have visited your page recently.

Accessing the Activity Manager: You should see the link for the message manager from your User Settings, as always you must be logged in to access this page.


My Activity Feed: Your activity feed is a list of actions that you have taken on the site to give other users a heads up about what you've been up to. If you don't want certain items to show you can delete them individually or even set that type of item to never show in your feed.

  • Deleting: You can delete each feed individually or you can delete multiple entries at once by checking the boxes beside the entries and then clicking the delete button. When you delete an entry it is completely taken off of MeAndMic.com and will no longer show up on anyone's feed.
  • Preferences: You can set all of your preferences in this area. The preference button is located at the top right.
  • Viewing your feed: Your feed can be shown by way of an About Module added to your page or on other people's page if you are a fan of theirs by way of a Fan Module. Likewise you can display your fan's feeds on your own page using a fan module.

View all your feeds and delete unwanted feeds.

Preferences: This is where you can set all your preferences for your feed.

  • Basics: Read about each item that you can change in the feed and then decide if you would like it to be updated on other user profiles.

Control what feeds you would like to have updated regularly.

Site Activity: Here you can check how many visitors you have had to your profile page. You can check for the last 24 hours, 7 days and so on.


Check out how many people have been looking at your profile.

  • Did You Know?: You can use the Embedded Media module to add video from most of the major video hosting sites.
  • Some Music Trivia: The only 20th century tenors recorded to be capable of hitting 'e' over high 'c' were Enrico Caruso and Roy Orbison.
  • Did You Know?: You can have multiple Blog modules on your page.  Create one for show reviews and another for your music rants.
  • Did You Know?: You can change your user icon from either the Image Manager or from the Membership page.
  • Some Music Trivia: The Rolling Stones' emblem was created by Andy Warhol.
  • Did You Know?: You can set modules and pages to Private while you are setting them up so no one else can see them until you are ready.
  • Did You Know?: Want organize other user's music? The MeAndMic.com playlist manager will allow you to collect songs into separate playlists.
  • Some Music Trivia: The first video played on MTV was 'Video Killed the Radio Star' by The Buggles.
  • Did You Know?: If you want feedback from viewers of your page, just add a Comments Module to the page.
  • Some Music Trivia: The first CD pressed in the US was Bruce Springsteen's Born in the USA.
