Fan List Module Guide

About Module Guide: The About Module lets you give your user info, a biography and a user picture. You can type in your info or copy it from your user profile. Your user pic can be any picture in your image folder and can be sized to several sizes.


Settings Overview

About Module Settings: Besides the general settings described in Part 5 of this guide you can specify the following:

  • Module Settings: In this section you can choose a title for the module, decide if you want the module to be private or public and also select a user style you want for the module.
  • Display Settings: In this section you can choose which information about yourself you want to have displayed in the module. Check or uncheck the boxes beside the options that you would like to have visible to other users.
  • Show Activity Feed: You can choose to have your activity feed visible by toggling it on and off. You also have a choice of how many feeds you would like to have visible at a time.
  • Show Image: From the dropdown box you can choose which image you would like to use for your main profile picture.
    • Use User Icon: This option will use the user icon that you have already selected in your Member Information section. (To change your user icon click the My Account dropdown menu on the left side of the screen and then go into the Membership section)
    • Use Selected Image: This option allows you to choose any image from your personal images that you would like to set as your user icon (To add pictures to your folders go to the Media Management dropdown from the left side of the screen and then click the Picture Manager button). After selecting an image you may choose the size that you would like your user icon to be. (The size you choose will depend on the layout you use on your homepage)

Make sure to click the Save Button when you are done or you will lose your changes.

 

In the module settings take note that you can add an image, copy data from your profile and that you have to save to keep your changes.

About Module Examples


In wide view you can use a bigger image.


In the left and right views you might want to scale your image down a bit.

  • Coming Soon: Head to Head competition. Your recordings against other user's.
  • Did You Know?: Want organize other user's music? The MeAndMic.com playlist manager will allow you to collect songs into separate playlists.
  • Some Music Trivia: Aerosmith's "Dude looks like a lady" was written about Vince Neil of Motley Crue.
  • Did You Know?: You can have multiple Blog modules on your page.  Create one for show reviews and another for your music rants.
  • Some Music Trivia: The first video played on MTV was 'Video Killed the Radio Star' by The Buggles.
  • Some Music Trivia: The Rolling Stones' emblem was created by Andy Warhol.
  • Did You Know?: If you want feedback from viewers of your page, just add a Comments Module to the page.
  • Some Music Trivia: Ironically the only member of ZZ Top that doesn't have a beard is Frank Beard.
