  • Page Layout: You can have multiple public and private pages for your profile.
    • You can add up to ten pages.
    • Pages can be left private which will keep them hidden from other users or they can be made public.
    • You cannot delete the last of your pages and the first page will always be public.
  • Content Layout: Site creation uses a modular approach.
    • You can add different types of modules to a page, rename them and move them.
    • Like pages, modules can be set to public or private depending on whether you want other users to see them.
    • Pages can be set to have a one column layout or a two column layout. Modules are available for all layouts.

Detailed Guide: Page Layout

Step 1: To access the Page Manager, click the Personal Site Settings button on the left of the user settings area and then from the dropdown menu select Page Manager

Step 2: From the Page Manager you can:

  • First: Create a new page by clicking the Add button, new pages will be added to the end and set to private.
  • Second: Select a page and then click the Move Up or Move Down buttons to reposition the page. Likewise you can rename a page but the name should be text or numbers and less than 16 characters.
  • Third: Delete a page the same way as adding a page but the page must be empty of modules first. See the next section to learn how to do that.
  • Note: Make sure to set a page to public if you want other users to see it. Otherwise leave it private.

Select a page and use the buttons on either side.

Detailed Guide: Content Layout

MeAndMic.com uses a modular approach to page creation. This means that any content you want to add is added in a specific module type and you can add most modules multiple times. There are different types of module, see Section 5 of this guide for descriptions on the various module types.

Step 1: To access the Content Manager, click the Personal Site Settings button on the left of the user settings area and then from the dropdown menu select Content Manager

Step 2: From the Content Manager:

  • First: Pick the page that you would like to add modules to from the dropdown box.
  • Second: Select the layout you would like for your page. Either a single column layout or a two column layout.
  • Third: Scroll to the bottom of the page and select the module that you would like to add to your page from the dropdown menu. New modules are always added to the bottom of the wide column. They are given a default name and set to private.

The modules you can add and their descriptions are at the bottom of the page.

Step 3: Once you have added a module you can change a module layout as follows:

  • First: You can move a module up/down, rename it, and set private/public settings the same way described in the Page Layout options above.
  • Second: You can delete a module by selecting it and clicking the delete link. Deleting some modules will cause you to navigate to a delete window describing the effects of deleting that module, read this information carefully before continuing.
  • Third: If you have a two-column layout you can move modules to the left column or right column. Switching a module from one column type to another will not change it's data in any way, just the appearance.
  • Note: The name and public/private settings can also be set from the module setup described in the next section.

Select a module and then click the link for the action you want.

When you have a 2 column layout you can also move modules sideways.
