MeAndMic and the Karaoke World Championships

The Karaoke World Championships is one of the most inclusive world-wide talent competitions. 2009 saw participants from 32 different countries competing for the male and female titles as well as a recording contract in Lahti, Finland. This September the KWC heads to Moscow, Russia in what should be another huge event.

MeAndMic is proud to be the part of the KWC in a number of ways. We are the official licensee for the KWC in Canada and are hosting a number of live competitions leading to the Canadian National Championship this August in Vancouver, BC.

MeAndMic is also working with the KWCUSA to bring online competition for the first time to the KWC. Coming Soon MeAndMic members will be able to register online to compete to qualify for the National Finals in Canada and Regional Finals in the United States.

Compete Live

The foundation of the KWC is in live competition and MeAndMic wants to help you find live competition venue's near you. In our first year we've partnered with the KWUSA to use our Event listing system to help you find venues featuring KWC sanctioned events in the USA as well as MeAndMic events in Canada.

Last year the KWC had 32 countries participating and as we move forward, MeAndMic wants to help you find information for all of the member countries. Check back regularly as we will add links to other country sites as well as list their events, and help to add online competition to their selection process.
