2011 Canadian National Karaoke Championships

The road to Killarney, Ireland and the 2011 Karaoke World Championships rolled fast and furious through Canada with 20 of the country’s best all competing to represent. 3 rounds of competition saw the 12 Female and 8 Male competitors cut down to a final 3 in each category. In a surprise twist to the evening, the Fan Favorite vote from the audience came to a tie. The crowd called for a “sing off”, but the judges opted to allow both a Male and Female to compete in the final round.

When the smoke cleared Trevor Dunn was awarded the Top Male Canadian Champion, and Jerrica Santos the Top Female Grand Champion. Both competitors will go on to represent Canada at the Karaoke World Championships in Ireland.
